forward its mission to inform, inspire, entertain and challenge all who
enter its doors.
Since its founding in 1896, the Quogue Library
has been more than a building that houses a collection of books. From
the day a row of donated volumes contributed by local women was placed
on a shelf in Jessup’s Store, the Library has served as a community
meeting place, a resource for learning and sharing through a variety
of programs, a retreat for quiet reading and research, and the inspiration
for generations of readers who have learned to love books through our
children’s story hours. The Library’s value to the community
is evidenced by the support of local citizens whose generosity has enabled
the Library to grow and expand its services over the years. Now, thanks
to the most recent expansion and refurbishment, the Library is ready
to serve patrons in the Information Age while retaining the architectural
charm and historical ambiance that makes reading, browsing or just relaxing
in its comfortable rooms such a pleasure. With over 100 years of continuous
service to the community, the Library remains a resource for all ages.
Annual Membership Benefits – Your annual donation to the Library
supplements our tax-based operating budget, allowing us to present special
programs and services such as our state-of-the art computer lab, Summer
Author Series, and DVD movie collection while keeping your local tax
burden low.
i. Library Associate (up to $99, fully tax deductible): Subscription
to Society Newsletter, invitation for two to a special event.
ii. Partner $100 ($90 tax deductible): All of the above, PLUS library
tote bag, library book marks.
iii. Supporter $250 ($225 tax deductible): All of the above, PLUS color
library notecards.
iv. Sustainer $500 ($450 tax deductible): All of the above PLUS adopt
5 books in the Library with recognition bookplates.
v. Conservator $1000 ($950 tax deductible): All of the above PLUS adopt
10 books in the Library with recognition bookplates.
vi. Benefactor $5000 ( $4950 tax deductible): All of the above PLUS
listing as Sponsor of Library Program and adopt 15 books in the Library
with recognition bookplates.
Your Gift Helps the Library
i. Increase its collection of fiction, nonfiction, reference

patrons to the vast resources available on the Internet.

NY 11959. Include a note with your name, mailing address, email address
and telephone number.
