The Quogue Library is excited to share this rare footage from a camera placed on top of an Osprey Nest located on the Saxon Ave Peninsula in Bay Shore, LI.
 

The footage begins in April as the Ospreys choose the nest , followed by their laying of two eggs May 1st and May 3rd respectively and then with chicks hatching June 7th and June 9th continuing through right up to the present with chicks hopefully expected to take their first flights 55 days after hatching (end of July).
